Hi There, I’m Jennifer

 Jennifer Brotherton Woods, RYT-200, M.A.

Jennifer first discovered yoga in the late 1990s—and hated it. At the time, she was an avid cyclist, runner, and adrenaline seeker. Yoga felt far too slow and “boring” compared to her high-energy pursuits.

After years of pushing her body to its limits and experiencing the effects of overtraining, Jennifer found her way back to yoga—this time with a different perspective. Practicing consistently at Mountainside Yoga Studio in Mena, she developed a true appreciation for the balance, healing, and mindfulness yoga offers.

Throughout the years, Jennifer’s practice has evolved through life’s inevitable ups and downs. Injuries, busy seasons, and time away have only deepened her understanding that yoga is a lifelong journey—always waiting for you when you’re ready to return.

In 2024, she completed her RYT-200 certification, initially intending only to deepen her personal practice. But after finishing the training, she felt called to teach and share yoga with others.

Jennifer holds a Master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, which supports her teaching style by fostering a mindful, supportive, and inclusive environment. She is passionate about offering safe, accessible classes for all bodies and experience levels, reflecting her belief that yoga is for everyone, at every stage of life.
